Meet Your Guides
Having the right or wrong guide on a tour can either make or break your trip. The right guide will turn what could be an ordinary drive around the countryside, into a life changing and enriching educational experience. At Aussie Adventure we are proud of the fact that our tour guides are all passionate about what they do – they genuinely enjoy sharing the areas they love with our customers. Many of them have specific areas of interests in the cultural or natural history of the region, and will go the extra mile to show you what you want to see. While all of our guides are well trained in most aspects of touring, you may have a certain particular interest of your own. Take a browse through the guides profiles, and if you find you have a special affinity with one or the other, let us know when you make your booking enquiry. We don’t make guarantees but we’ll do our best to match you up with the guide of choice on your tour. Should you decide that a custom designed charter itinerary is for you, we are very likely to be able to give you the requested guide, and through our knowledge of our guides interests, would automatically assign the guide best suited to match your interests in any case. |

Kerry Ferris
One of the ‘old men’ of the Darwin team, Kerry has been guiding in the Top End for 7 seasons, a job taken up out of a decades-old deep seated love of the abundance of Nature and Aboriginal culture in the Savannah lands of Northern Australia. Previously an office bound project manager, telephones, computers, files and falseness have been replaced by the pleasure of introducing visitors to the clean air, cool water, far horizons and natural reality of the best part of the best country in the world. Those things keep Kerry going.
Kerry is most at home with a small group of like-minded individuals, and he always goes the extra mile to achieve the needs of his guests. Equally comfortable behind the wheel of a 16 seat 4WD or laboring over a camp fire, cooking up a meal, Kerry invariably delivers a well balanced and informative, not to mention fun, tour for his guests. |

Leah Henderson
With 3 years of guiding experience Leah is an energetic leader with a passion for cultures, people and wildlife. While she enjoys teaching visitors about all of the native wildlife in the Northern Territory , she is especially fond of our reptiles such as the Frilled Neck Lizard. She has a particular interest in learning and teaching local knowledge, particularly through hands on experiences.
Leah started her life in the small West Australian Cray fishing village of Ledge Point, and has travelled extensively throughout the world. She has even lived in England and Turkey where she worked (and partied) hard as a tour leader. |

Beau Badaway
Beau really does believe that he has the best job in the world. Everyday brings something new, whether it is spotting a new animal, being asked a tricky question, or the challenge of language barriers.
Hailing from Switzerland (no, he can't yodel) Beau has travelled throughout the world including America , Canada , South America, Europe and South East Asia . His favourite travel destination (apart from the Northern Territory of course) is Spain because of the great people, relaxed lifestyle and superb food. |

Don Coutts
Don has travelled extensively throughout Australia and has found himself enjoying the active life of a tour guide in the Top End. Originally from North Queensland (so he's used to the heat) and having spent many years living in South East Queensland he thinks The Top End is the ideal travel destination because of its unique diversity.
Don enjoys meeting people from all over the world and believes it is his privilege to showcase Australia to visitors. Even in his spare time Don enjoys bushwalking and has a keen interest in flora, fauna and Australian history. |
